This web site covers a wide range of technical subjects, presented concisely and succinctly. It outlines the services provided by Dickie Feakes, who has over 50 years experience in installing, servicing and maintaining instruments and radios in gliders, and is a mine of information on related technical subjects. Dickie currently flies an ASH25E from Bicester and is airborne on most of the good soaring days.
The section on FAQs answers many of the more common technical queries, while the Data Sheets cover more detailed topics. If you cannot see the answer to your question, please send it to dickie@bas.uk.net and I will do my best to give you a straightforward, authoritative answer.

Bicester Aviation Services are the European authorized repair and service station for Cambridge Instruments Inc and are fully supported by the factory technicians in the parent US Company.
A small range of stock is carried which is listed under the Items for Sale link. For items not listed it is recommended that purchases be made through a small number of specialist gliding suppliers. If BAS is mentioned when making a purchase, then I am prepared to provide technical support to supplement that given by the supplier.
